Skipping a round on account of a head cold

Last week I skipped my round on account of a few swiss-cheese-sleep nights, that's what I call interrupted sleep. Kids with nightmares. Thunder claps waking up kids...you know the stuff that makes you go: "Life happens."

Well, earlier this week my two younger kiddos ended up with a cold I wasn't keen on catching but me being a hands on mom touching and hugging my kiddos ended up catching it. I can't recall the last time I had a cold that made me so miserable with headaches. It almost felt like the flu without the fever part.

So yes, I didn't want to start a round already feeling down. Instead I'm enjoying family time, catching up on this blog and look forward to starting another round next week.
